I’m so excited that we’ve partnered with Emma Watson to design and launch this beautiful range for under-25s. There will be loads of Fair Trade fashion shows at schools univerisities all over the country for Fairtrade Fortnight. We’ll be launching the shows with one at Bedales School in Hampshire, with our People Tree Promoters, also with People and Planet.
Emma was a lot of fun to work with. We worked with Misato our designer after Emma had finished shooting. We’d start at 6:30 her place or ours, often working until late at night. She’s incredibly self-disciplined and knows very much what she likes.
Of course we shot the Youth catalogue in the last of the summer warmth before Emma went off to Boston to University. If you want a copy of the catalogue, go online to order one, it’s absolutely gorgeous and will be published on Friday.

I have bought from people tree for a while and am a huge Harry Potter fan. I think that this range is really nice and to think that somebody is using their fame and talents to help something as important as fairtrade clothing and people tree, is really lovely. Because of this new range alot more people in youth culture, such as myself, know about people tree and that fairtrade clothing is actually really nice. To Emma Watson and the whole of people tree, thank you and well done!
Thanks for info, I am always looking for something interesting on the Internet, i want to send
photos for your blog
I’m so glad to see a celebrity supporting ethical clothing.
I’ve found a brand called Chinti and Parker. They have beautiful organic cotton ts and dresses. Check out their “conscious clothing”: http://www.chintiandparker.com/engine/shop/product/CP38/NEW+Apron+Dress
